Bio of Myrna Booth, Songwriter

Myrna Booth resides in Northwest Missouri. She came from a large musical family and sang lead in her family group as well as leading music and singing in her church. Writing both Country and Gospel, Myrna had written lyrics for years before she decided to try to do something with them. With music being her inspiration and therapy, she emphasizes the positive in her lyrics, never negative. She tells us "If I was going through something I would listen and sing about what the Gospel had for me. If I was happy, I would listen to something joyful. I write about my life experiences, the country, and Christian values that anyone could listen and relate to. Music is as important to me as the air I breathe. What is important in my life is my faith, family, and my music, in that order."
