From: Robin PikeSan,
How many horses are you up to now? The idea of breeding for conformation, attitude, and motion are what so many color breeders have lost. I'm glad to hear you do that. I have seen too many foals that have color, but the conformation or the disposition is terrible. I'm sure you see that, too.

The first time, I just said, "I don't think I can count that high any more."
The second person got told, "Gee, I don't really know. It keeps changing all the time, and I get confused."
I emailed you that I had two less than I did two hours ago. And therein lies a great tale I now have permission to tell.

"Seven Pinto mares are in foal to RAVEN (or at least are running with him at present.)
"HAHAHAHA!
"I have THREE!
But I have been there. For awhile I was breeding and horses just seemed to pile up everywhere. They got to be work. They weren't much fun and had a lot of feet to trim and mouths to stick wormer into.
Now I have two Arab mares, and a 1/2 Connemara foal.
I'm taking dressage lessons (not ambitiously, just when I feel the urge.)
Horses are fun!
