More About
The Young Country Band

Young Country is a family owned and operated country music show located in Laredo, Missouri. Laredo is located 6 miles east of Trenton, MO on Hwy. 6, then 5 miles south on Route E.

The show originally began in November 1984 under the name Cuz'n Pud's Jamboree (owned and operated by George Bowe) and for the next 15 years played nearly 1000 shows, both home and away, until December 1999.

In January 2000, Todd Young (an original member of Cuz'n Pud's Jamboree) and his father, was offered the option to purchase the show from George Bowe.  So, Todd and his entire immediate family pooled their resources, formed the company Young Country LLC, and on March 11, 2000 re-opened as the Young Country music show.

The band, including Clitus Meeker (another original member), remained the same as it was before the change in management.  The only change made was the addition of Ann Brock on vocals.

The Young Family invites you to come see their family oriented music show where you will be entertained with great  music and comedy.  Chances are you will even make a new friend or two out in the audience during the intermission.  You can sit back in the 350 seat, air-conditioned theater and enjoy a nice, cool soda and a delicious bag of popcorn while watching the show.

We hope to see you soon.
