WELCOME TO THE AUTHOR'S PAGE
My name that I am best known
as is Rod Schall. If I drive around the country at various places including
volleyball events, many people know I am around when they spot my car with a
license plate that says "STATMAN". I remarried in September
of 1997 and my wife, Deanna, who goes with me everywhere, has on her mini-van
a license that says "STATWYF". I have been very involved in
the past doing stats for USA Volleyball.
I have done the stats for The America's Cup in Florida, the NORCECA Championships,
the Pan American Games, the Goodwill Games, as well as the World League and
Grand Prix. On top of all that, I've been involved in doing stats for the 1976
and 1996 Olypics. I've been the chief statistician for the NAIA Women's National
Championships for 12 years. Each year I am an Exhibitor at the AVCA National
Convention and have been a presenter several times. In my spare time, I
travel with the Graceland University Men's Volleyball team and help out with
them through April.

we have four children; Ryan, Jill, Trevin, and Shannon. Click here

Iowa, which is in the south-central part of Iowa on I-35 just four miles from
the Missouri border. It is the home of Graceland
University where Bruce Jenner attended. In fact, I also attended Graceland,
but I spent 38 years as an administrator at the college first as the audio visual
director, then the chief photographer for the publications department. I finished
my time at the college as the designer and developer of the microcomputer labs
at the college. During 27 of those years, I was also the Head Men's Volleyball
Coach during which we won three NAIA National Championships and were runner-up
three times in the 11 years the men had the national tournament. Click if you

Some
of my interests include cycling where I try to get in several miles a week.
I still do a lot of photography, mostly for the various residence halls at the
university doing business as CAMERA CRAFTS by Schall..
They have functions they like to have pictures with their date, as well as group
photos of their hall. I also like making photo mosaics of places I have traveled
to like the one here of Deanna and I taken at Arches National Park in Utah.

I have a couple of other things I do. Everybody has to buy soap, shampoo, laundry and dish detergents, etc., just as I do. I've just changed where I buy it and because of that, I earn extra income. I also believe in helping nature as much as possible in living a long healthy and happy life. Everyone has to have enzymes and other things to help in the process, because our food today is so depleted and processed to the point that we don't get what people used to get in the past. I am a member and lay minister in Comunity of Christ formerly known as the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. No, I'm not Mormon.
