UNITED WE STAND

My Personal Tribute to the Victims and Families of the 09/11/2001 Tragedies.

I happened to be home from work that particular day and when I awoke and finally turned on my television, I just thought that the channel was on the previous nights’ viewing.  That would be the ‘SciFi’ channel.  I actually thought for a few minutes that I was viewing the makings of or an actual movie from the ‘SciFi’ channel.
I finally realized that…. THIS IS REAL!!!
I CAN’T BELIEVE WHAT I AM SEEING!

Well, after a few weeks of nail biting and cutical crunching, I want to share this:

FROM MY HEART

From deep within my Heart I felt the Fear and the Pain,
Because I watched with disbelief as the Towers poured Rain.
I thought to myself, so many lives here,
And at that point, I began to feel Fear.

I then saw the report of another disaster,
It’s the Pentagon My God, what are they after.
With a Symbol of our Nation plowed into by a plane,
I thought to myself, My Dear God why such Pain!

Then another report about a crash in PA,
I thought to myself, Is this THE Day.
I brought myself back to the original picture,
And thought about it again, to make damn sure!

I cried that day and many days after,
So many lives lost – Thank God they don’t suffer.
The pain of the living and rembembrances of Death,
I pray for the Loved ones who endured the wrath.

My Heart pumps blood for all who died!
