ORDINANCE NO. 98

Bill No. 1 REVISED-BONDS AND FEES MARSHAL
AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE PUNISHMENT FOR THE VIOLATIONS OF THE ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF BROWNING, MISSOURI: REPEALING CONFLICTING ORDINANCES AND FIXING THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THE ORDINANCE.
Be it ordained by the board of aldermen of the city of browning, Missouri, as follows:
SECTION One: Whenever any person is found guilty of violating any of the ordinances of the City of Browning, Missouri, either or a plea of guilty or otherwise he shall be punished by a fine not exceeding the sum of $100.00 or imprisonment for a period not exceeding three months or by both such fine and imprisonment, as may be just, recoverable with costs of suit, together with judgment of imprisonment until the fine and costs are paid or satisfied; provided however in any case wherein the penalty for an offense is fixed by any statute, to affix the same penalty by ordinance. Provided further that any ordinance which provides for a minimum penalty for the violation of any ordinance or part of an ordinance shall be in no wise lowered by this ordinance.
SECTION Two. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflicting herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION Three. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
