ORDINANCE NO. 7.

AN ORDINANCE IN RELATION TO POLICE JUDGE.

Be it ordained by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Browning, Missouri, as follows:

SECTION 1. That on the first Tuesday in April, 1893, at the regular city election to be held on that day, and every two years thereafter, there shall be elected a Police Judge for the City of Browning.

SECTION 2. The Police Judge, then elected, shall have exclusive original jurisdiction to hear and determine all offenses against the ordinances of the city.

SECTION 3. Any vacancy in the office of Police Judge shall be filled by appointment by the Board of Aldermen, and every person so appointed shall hold office for the unexpired term.

SECTION 4. The Police Judge shall receive the same fees in all suits arising under the ordinances of theis city as Justices of the Peace are, by law, allowed for like services. (Repealed by Ord.# 4 March 24, 1931.)

SECTION 5. This ordinance to take effect and be in force from and after its passage and approval.
