ORDINANCE NO. 6.

AN ORDINANCE IN RELATION TO CITY OFFICERS.

Be it ordained by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Browning, Missouri, as follows:

SECTION 1. That the Mayor by and with the advice and consent of the Board of Aldermen, shall, at the first meeting after a city election, annually appoint a City Treasurer and a City Attorney, who shall hold office for one year and until their successors are appointed and qualified, unless sooner removed by the Board for cause.

SECTION 2. That the Board of Aldermen shall, at said neeting, elect a City Clerk, who shall hold office for one year and until his successor is elected and qualified, unless sooner removed by the Board for cause.

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in force from and after its passage and approval.
