ORDINANCE NO. 56
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BROWNING, MISSOURI, PROHIBITING ANY PERSON FROM PERMITTING OR CAUSING A DRAIN, DITCH OR WATERWAY FROM FILLING UP WITH SAND, DIRT, RUBBISH, OR DEBRIS; FIXING THE PUNISHMENT FOR THE VIOLATION OF THE ORDINANCE; REPEALING ALL CONFLICTING ORDINANCES AND FIXING THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THE ORDINANCE.
Be it ordained by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Browning, Missouri, as follows, to-wit:
SECTION One: No person, firm, co-partnership or corporation shall cause or permit any drain ditch or other water way along the sides or adjacent to property owned or occupied by him or them to become filled with sand, dirt, rubbish or debris of any kind in any manner whatsoever.
SECTION Two: Any person violating the provisions of this Ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined not less that $1.00 and not more than $100.00.
SECTION Three: All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION Four: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
