AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BROWNING, MISSOURI, REQUIRING ALL CANDIDATES FOR OFFICE TO FILE THEIR NAMES WITH THE CITY CLERK NOT LATER THAN MIDNIGHT OF THE FRIDAY IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE ELECTION:
Be it ordained by the board of aldermen of the city of browning, Missouri, as follows, to wit:

SECTION ONE: THAT ANY PERSON desiring to run for any elective office in the City of Browning, Missouri, or to have his name placed upon the official ballot of the City of Browning, Missouri, as a candidate for elective office, shall file his name with the City Clerk of the City of Browning, Missouri, not later than mid-night of the Friday immediately preceding the election, at which such candidate is to be voted upon. Unless the name of the candidate, as provided above, is received by the City Clerk before the date mentioned, it shall not be placed upon the official ballot.

SECTION 2: All ordinance and parts of Ordinance in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.

SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall be full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
