AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING PERSONNEL TO VARIOUR CITY OFFICES, DESIGNATING THEIR DUTIES AND FIXING THEIR COMPENSATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF BROWNING, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Unless otherwise noted, all appointment shall be for a period of one year, or until their successor
is appointed and qualified.
Section 2: Unless otherwise noted, all appointees shall perform the duties of that office as directed by the
Board of Aldermen and as required by Ordinances of this City and the Statutes of this State.
Section 3: Compensation shall be paid by appropriate City Warrant upon approval by the Board of
Aldermen and from the account(s) indicated.
Section 4: Brenda Head is hereby appointed to act in the capacity of City Clerk and City Treasurer.
Compensation shall be $500.00 per month effective May 1, 2003. One-half shall be paid from the General
Municipal Fund and one-half from the Water Fund Account.
Section 5: Amanda Schreiner is hereby appointed to act in the capacity of Assistant City Clerk and City
Treasurer. Compensation shall be $350.00 per month effective May 1, 2003. One-half shall be paid from
the General Municipal Fund and one-half from the Water Fund Account.
Section 6: Dean Alspach is hereby appointed to act in the capacity of City Water Commissioner.
Compensation shall be $450.00 per month effective May 1, 2003. 70% shall be paid from the Water Fund
Account and 30% from the Sewer Fund Account.
Section 7: Paula Havens is hereby appointed to act in the capacity of City Collector. Duties and
Compensation shall be per Ordinance #274. Payment shall be from the General Municipal Fund.
Section 8: Any Ordinances in conflict with this ordinace are hereby repealed to the extent inconsistent
herewith.
