ORDINANCE NO. 26.
AN ORDINANCE IN RELATION TO CITY LICENSES.
Be it ordained by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Browning, Missouri, as follows:
SECTION 1. That the following licenses shall be collected within the city of Browning, Missouri, to-wit:
A foot peddler for each day shall pay a license of. . . . . $ 1.00
A peddler with a wagon shall pay for each day . . . . . . . $ 2.00
An auctioneer shall pay for each day a license of . . . . . $ 1.50
An auction store shall pay for each day the sum of. . . . . $10.00
A patent medicine vender who cries his goods on the street shall pay per day . . $ 2.50
A patent medicine show exhibiting in a tent per day . . . . $ 2.50
Circus show shall pay a license for each day. . . . . . . . $10.00
Dog shows and other performances in tents (not circuses) per day. . . $ 2.50
Cane racks, baby racks and doll racks . . . . . . . . . . . $ 5.00
Nickelodeons, per week. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $ 2.50
Shooting galleries per week . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $ 2.00
All license shall be paid in advance, and any person violating the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and fined fifteen dollars. All ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in force from and after its passage and approval.
