AN ORDINANCE RENEWING 11W CABLE TELEVISION
FRANCHISE WITH GALAXY TELECOM, LP. AND APPROVING
THE CHANGE OF EXPIRATION DATE.
WHEREAS, Galaxy Telecom, L.P. operates a cable television system within the Town of Browning, Missouri under the franchise Ordinance #203 passed by the Town Council on August 10, 1992; as thereafter transferred and assigned by Ordinance #213 2 13 and #215; and
WHEREAS, said Franchise #215 was granted for a period of two (2) years and is due to expire on June 5, 1997; and
WHEREAS, Galaxy Telecom, LP has requested that the Town of Browning renew the franchise to operate the cable television system within the Town.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE Town Council of the Town of Browning, that:
SECTION 1: The request of Galaxy Telecom, LP to renew tile cable television franchise dated August 1 0, 1 992, as assigned and amended by Ordinances #2 13 and 2 15, and to change tile expiration date thereof to June 5, 2007 is hereby granted.
SECTION 2: Except to the extent affected herein, the Franchise Ordinance dated August 10, 1992 , as assigned and amended shall continue in full force and effect.
