BILL NO. 421 ORDINANCE No. 247 ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING JOSEPH WRIGHT AS POLICEMAN! PATROLMAN, DESIGNATING DUTIES AND FIXING COMPENSATION. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMAN OF THE CITY OF BROWNING, MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Joseph Wright is hereby appointed to act in the capacity of Policeman/Patrolman and to perform the duties thereof as directed by the Board of Alderman and required by the Ordinance of this city. Section 2: Compensation shall be established as the same rate of pay provided in the "Cops" grant received by the city and such compensation shall be paid directly from that separate account established for the funds received under said grant. Section 3: Any ordinance in force and effect pertaining to compensation are hereby repealed to the extent inconsistant herewi th. PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 5th day of May, 1997.
