ORDINANCE

AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING A CITY ATTORNEY, DESIGNATING THE DUTIES AND FIXING COMPENSATION.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF BROWNING, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

The firm of Gifford & Richardson, P.C., is hereby appointed to act in the capacity of City Attorney to perform the duties thereof as directed by the Board of Aldermen and required by the ordinances of this City and statutes of this State.

Compensation shall be based upon submission of fee statements no less frequently than quarterly and shall be paid by appropriate city warrant upon approval by the Board of Aldermen.

Any ordinances in force and effect pertaining to compensation are hereby repealed to the extent inconsistent herewith.
