ORDINANCE NO. 14.
AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO RAILROAD ENGINES AND TRAINS, AND REGULATING THE SPEED HEREOF, ETC., IN THE CITY.
Be it ordained by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Browning, Missouri, as follows:
SECTION 1. That from and after the passage and approval of this ordinance it shall be unlawful for any railroad engine, train or cars to be run through the corporate limits of this city at a greater rate of speed than six miles an hour.
SECTION 2. Any conductor, engineer or other person, having charge or control of any engine, train or car, who shall run or permit the same to be run through this city at a greater rate of speed than six miles an hour, shall on conviction thereof, be adjudged guilty of a misdemeanor.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be on force from and after its passage and approval.
