I would like to extend to you a welcome to the City of Bethany from myself and the City Council. You will find while visiting our town, that Bethany offers a fine school system, a newly expanded hospital, two health clinics, two dentist offices, a local newspaper and radio station. The city offers a variety of recreational activities such as The Bethany Community Gym, three parks, swimming pool, a movie theater, skating rink and bowling alley. Bethany enjoys yearly events such as the Babe Adams Festival, 4th of July Celebration, The Northwest Missouri Fair, Scare-At-The-Fair and Christmas-In-The Park.
Bethany is continually growing with new projects such as the addition of fiber optic cables throughout the area.
Bethany is located on Interstate 35 between two major cities of Kansas City, Missouri and Des Moines, Iowa. Our town is located so that driving to enjoy the cities amenities is convenient, but you are still able to enjoy the relaxing environment of small town living and the pleasure of knowing the residents by name.
